  • Day 1: 3th August (B/-/D)
    Transfer from Arcevia to Jesi by coach and accommodation at 4* FEDERICO II Hotel – Transfer to the old town and visit of the famous Teatro Pergolesi, a magnificent Opera House built in 18th century and then rebulit and renovated – Nowadays it is still used for operas and concerts – Return to the hotel – Dinner and overnight

 

  • Day 2: 4th August (B/L/D)
    Breakfast and time at leisure for relax by the swimming pool – Lunch at the hotel restaurant – In the afternoon transfer to Genga to visit the famous Frasassi Caves: the biggest karst cave system in Europe – During the visit, led by a speleologist you will see a a The Abyss Ancona in the first part of the caves – It is a spectacular big hollow, perhaps one of the bigger hollow in Europe and in the world: 180 mt. long, 120 m. large and 200 m. high. At the end of the abyss it is possible to see a chaotic hoard of blocks, results of movements and fallings down from time immemorial that gave origin to the abyss – After the visit transfer by coach to the so – called Castelli di Jesi, a rural area in a wonderful hill landscape, where a famous local wine is produced: the Verdicchio wine Doc – Stop at a winery for a tasting of a selection of local wines served with by a selection of cold cuts (among them the local Ciauscolo salami, Fabriano salami, ham etc ) and cheese – At the end back to the hotel and overnight

 

  • Day 3: 5th August (B/-/-)
    Breakfast at the hotel – Departure for a day trip by coach to FLORENCE, one of the best art cities in Italy, renowned all over the world – Arrival and meeting with a local guide speaking English for a visit of the main monuments of the city: Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio, the Cathedral with the spectacular cupola by Brunelleschi, Ponte Vecchio – Time at leisure for lunch in San Lorenzo market area: eat a very florentine “panino con lampredotto” or the typical Florentina steak! – Afterwards shopping of souvenirs in the streets rich of craft laboratories and jewelleries – Late in the afternoon departure to Jesi and stop for dinner along the road – Overnight at the hotel

 

  • Day 4: 6th August (B/-/-)
    Breakfast at the hotel – Departure for Senigallia for a relaxing day at the sea side – Senigallia is a fantastic resort on the Adriatic sea with one of the best sand beaches in Marche region – Time at leisure for lunch – In the afternoon , have fun at “Summer Jamboree”, the long-awaited international festival that every year plunges the city of Senigallia back into the magic atmosphere of American life in the 1940s and 1950s: concerts, parties, swing and rock&roll music and dance pull crowds of enthusiastic fans from all over the world to the Velvet Beach – Dinner in one of several restaurant or food and win stands – At night back to Jesi and overnight at the hotel

 

  • Day 5: 7th August (B/-/-)
    Breakfast at the hotel – Departure for a day trip by coach to VENICE, the Italian spectacular floating city– Arrival at Trochetto and then by the so called vaporetto you will reach  St. Mark Square – Meeting with a local guide speaking English to discover the incredible history of Venice’s once-great maritime empire –Visit the magnificent St. Mark Cathedral inside and the Doge’s Palace – Visit the opulent apartments and the Hall of the Great Council where matters of state were decided under beautiful frescoes by Veronese and Tintoretto – Finally, you’ll wander over the Bridge of Sighs and learn the real story behind this romantic icon – Time at leisure for lunch and shopping in the afternoon – Then departure to Jesi and stop for dinner along the road – Overnight at the hotel in Jesi

 

  • Day 6: 8th August (B/-/D)
    Breakfast at the hotel – Relax by the swimming pool – Light lunch at the hotel restaurant and then departure to Macerata by coach – Macerata is a delicious medieval town famous for its Sferisterio, an open air area where every year takes place an international Opera Festival –A local guide will led a guided tour to the city and the Sferisterio arena –Buffet cocktail with local snacks in a pub and then enjoy the opera (Rigoletto by Verdi) in the enchanting setting of the Sferisterio arena – At night back to Jesi and overnight at at the hotel

 

  • Day 7: 9th August (B/-/-)
    Breakfast – Check out – Transfer to Fiumicino Airport to take the flight back to US

LEISURE PROGRAM PARTICIPATION FEES

FEE PER PERSON: € 560,00
(min. 35 participants)
Supplements: € 100,00 for accommodation in single room

 

The fee includes:
6 overnights at 4 – star FEDERICO II HOTEL in JESI http://www.hotelfederico2.it – Accommodation in a double or 3-bed room with breakfast – Summer classes as per program – Meals (drinks included) as per program – Transfer by coach to Fiumicino airport – 2 daily trips to Florence and Venice with visits led by an official tourist guide speaking English – Trip to Frasassi Caves with wine tasting (admission tickets to caves included) – Trip to Senigallia and to Macerata with a guided tour each

The fee does not include:
health insurance – cancellation insurance – extras – tips extra meals – entrance tickets – Sferisterio opera ticket (from 10,00 euro up to 80,00 euro depending on sectors)- and what is not mentioned in “the fee includes”
