Our camp is an amazing experience that brings together young fencers from all around the world to train and 
fence like professional athletes.
For fencers aged 9-21.
Our fencing camp is designed to challenge and support young fencers while having the best summer of their lives. The camp program created and run by world-renown coaches. The fencers will be grouped according to their skill level and competition experience. They will improve their footwork, blade work, distance control, strengthen fencing techniques and tactical skills
Two training sessions every day: 9:30 – 12:00 & 16:00 – 19:30.

– individual fencing lessons
– free and controlled fencing bouts

VALERIO ASPROMONTE
Italian Olympic fencer with a long and notable career in foil. Winner of the Olympic gold medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games in the team competition. Multiple-time winner of World Championships, European 
Championships, and World Cups.
MAURIZIO ZOMPARELLI
Foil coach of the Hong Kong national team. Before joining the Hong Kong national team worked with Italian, Russian, and Egyptian national teams.
MARIA ELENA PROIETTI
Head coach at Club Scherma Jesi, one of the strongest fencing clubs in Italy. Trained and raised many strong fencers at both national and international levels.
CARLO COPPI
Strength and conditioning coach working with high-level fencers from Spain, Egypt, Italy, and USA. Former physical trainer of the Egyptian national foil, epee, and saber teams.

With its medieval hill towns and green landscapes just north of Rome, Umbria is one of the most fascinating 
regions of Italy. Cascia, the city of Santa Rita, stands on the hill of Sant’Agostino, an ancient hillside castle, lapped by the waters of the Corno river. The millennial history and culture remain imprinted on the territory as indelible marks, bearing witness to the city’s illustrious past. Hiking on the Sibillini Mountains, a visit to the Marmore Falls, a trip to Castelluccio di Norcia, rafting are just some of the activities that can be done in Cascia.
Immersed in nature, Margelli Active Area is located just 800 m from the Hotel Monte Meraviglia. 1500m2 gym, outdoor fields in natural and synthetic grass, outdoor sand courts, swimming pool. Perfect facility not only for intense and effective training, but also for a fun summer with your fencing mates.
The Hotel Monte Meraviglia has a strategic position a few steps from the Basilica of Santa Rita of Cascia and the city center. Completely renovated facility surrounded by a well-kept park-garden. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, free WI-FI and TV.
