    • DAY 1: ANCONA AND PORTONOVO – SENIGALLIA

    Arrival in Ancona in late morning – Lunch in a restaurant – Meeting with the guide and guided tour of the capital city of the Marche Region – The tour includes the visit of the Cathedral of S. Ciriaco, the Romanesque church of “Santa Maria della Piazza”, The Roman Amphitheater, the Arch of Trajan, the port, the Church of St. Francis at the Stairs and the “Loggia dei Mercanti”, the “Palazzo degli Anziani”, the “Church of San Domenico”, “Piazza del Plebiscito” and “Teatro delle Muse” – In the late afternoon, transfer to Portonovo and guided tour of the “Chiesa di Santa Maria in Portonovo bay, a precious example of the Romanesque architecture in Le Marche and immersed in the Conero Riviera – At the end transfer to the hotel in Jesi or surroundings – Accommodation in the  reserved rooms, dinner and overnight

     

    • DAY 2: URBINO

    Breakfast at the hotel – Departure for Urbino, meeting with the guide and visit of the old town and Palazzo Ducale, home of the National Gallery of Le Marche – You will be able to admire the masterpieces of the greatest Renaissance artists, such as Piero della Francesca, Paolo Uccello, Raphael and Tiziano – Lunch in the old town – In the afternoon, a guided tour of the Oratory of St. John the Baptist, one of the most successful expressions of international gothic, masterpiece of Lorenzo and Jacopo Salimbeni, painters from San Severino Marche – Afterwards visit of the Oratory of St. Joseph, where you can find the famous crib by Federico Brandani and the birthplace of the divine painter Raffaello Sanzio – At the end, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight

     

    • DAY 3: SAN LEO – GRADARA – MONDAVIO

    Breakfast at the hotel – Departure for San Leo and meeting with the guide – Visit of the Pieve and Duomo, a very important monument in Romanesque style of Romagna area and the Fortress by Francesco di Giorgio Martini, a spectacular military building lying on a rock spur, also famous for having hosted the famous alchemist Cagliostro – Lunch in a local restaurant with typical products – In the afternoon, transfer to Gradara, to visit the famous castle that was the frame of the loving affair between Paolo and Francesca da Rimini, mentionated in the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri – Later on transfer to Mondavio, a famous medieval village in the inland of Pesaro, which had its greatest glory during the domination of Della Rovere Family, which commissioned to Francesco di Giorgio Martini to erect the imposing Rocca Roveresca – Today the Rocca is the home of rthe Museum of Historical Reenactment and a rich Armeria – Return to hotel, Dinner and overnight

     

    • DAY 4: JESI – RECANATI

    Breakfast at the hotel – Guided tour of the city, famous for the birth of the emperor Frederick II of Swabia, which took place in 1194 inside a tent in the central square of the city – The tour will focus on Piazza Federico II, the Duomo dedicated to San Settimio, Piazza della Signoria, the Biblioteca Planettiana and the wonderful Teatro Pergolesi – Walk along Corso Matteotti, a long perspective and strongly scenographic axis whose focal point is the Clementine Arch, a triumphal arch erected in 1734 in honor of Pope Clement XII Orsini for the abolition of the duty on wheat – Later on transfer to a Verdicchio winery: visit of the cellar and wine tasting accompanied by pasta and typical products – In the afternoon transfer to Recanati – Guided tour of Giacomo Leopardi’s and Beniamino Gigli’s native town – You will visit Villa Colloredo Mels which contains the masterpieces by Lorenzo Lotto (Annunciation, Transfiguration, Pala di Recanati), the Church and Cloister of St. Augustine, the Tower of the Solitary Sparrow, the Infinite Hill, the Saturday Square of the Village, the House of Silvia and finally, “Palazzo Leopardi”, the birthplace of one of the most important poet in Italy – In the late afternoon transfer to the hotel in Civitanova Marche or surroundings, dinner and overnight

    • DAY 5: ASCOLI PICENO E OFFIDA

    Breakfast at the hotel – Departure for Ascoli Piceno – Guided tour of the city, founded almost 2,500 years ago in pre-Roman times and known as the city of one hundred towers, for the innumerable towers (almost 200) built through different ages- You will visit Piazza del Popolo, one of the most beautiful Italian Renaissance-style squares – Special attention will be given to the Palazzo dei Capitani del Popolo and its inner Hall of Arms – Later on you will visit the church of San Francesco and the numerous Renaissance palaces – Time at leisure for lunch – In the afternoon, transfer to Offida – Guided visit of the splendid medieval village, especially the imposing Church of Santa Maria della Rocca, the Serpente Aureo theatre, built in 1820 which still keeps an elegant 15th-century portico, of the Collegiate Church, with the crypt housing the reconstruction of the Grotto of Lourdes and the The Addolorata church with its beautiful Dead Christ and the the Lace Museum housed inside De Castellotti – Paganelli palace – In the late afternoon return to the hotel – Dinner and overnight

    • DAY 6: FERMO, S. ELPIDIO A MARE AND SHOPPING IN THE FOOTWEAR OUTLET DISTRICT

    Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Fermo – Guided tour of the city, which will start from the wonderful Piazza del Popolo with the Palazzo dei Priori where you can visit the Pinacoteca and the Piceno Archaeological Museum – In mid-morning, a guided tour of the Roman Cisterns also known as swimming pools – It representa an important archaeological complex of 2,200 square meters – Their construction dates back to the I century. A.D. and it is attributed to Cesare Ottaviano Augusto  who led to the creation of an exceptional work of hydraulic art aimed at the water supply of the city and the naval equipment – Lunch at Fermo or in the marvelous Marche countryside – In the afternoon, transfer to Sant’Elpidio a Mare – Guided tour of the city, in particular of the famous Gerosolimitan Tower, the Collegiate and the Lateran Basilic – Of great interest is also the Museum of Footwear which also offers a private collection of footwear from all over the world and the best prototypes of local stylists – Continue to Casette d’Ete with shopping in the numerous outlets in the area – Transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight

    • DAY 7 : SAN SEVERINO – TOLENTINO

    Breakfast at the hotel – Departure for San Severino Marche – Guided tour of the city, starting with the Duomo Vecchio, to go afterwards to the new one of Sant’Agostino, to the suggestive Basilica of San Lorenzo, the Torre degli Smeducci and the Palazzo Manuzzini, whose Pinacoteca Civica have works by Lorenzo and Jacopo Salimbeni, Allegretto Nuzi, Paolo Veneziano, Lorenzo d’Alessandro, Vittore Crivelli, Bernardino di Mariotto, Alunno and Pinturicchio – The guided tour will end in Piazza del Popolo, one of the most beautiful of the Marche with its elliptical shape and architectural unit, surrounded by porticoes and Renaissance buildings – Free Lunch – In the afternoon, transfer to Tolentino and guided tour of the old town, still delimited today for long stretches from the 13th century walls – Visit of the Basilica of St. Nicholas, whose travertine façade is of great artistic interest – In particular the portal, the work of the Florentine sculptor Nanni di Bartolo called Rosso, in which admirably blend gothic elements with the spatial effects typical of the early Renaissance – The visit continues in the Piazza della Libertà, characterized by the bell tower of the Church of San Francesco, a symbol of the city thanks to the four-dial clock dating from 1822 and made by Antonio Podrini – Transfer to hotel – Dinner and overnight

     

    • DAY 8 : MACERATA, ABBADIA DI FIASTRA AND URBS SALVIA

    Breakfast at the hotel – Departure for Macerata – Guided tour of the old town, in particular the Sferisterio, built by architect Ireneo Aleandri, for pelota game, home of the second largest Italian opera season – Later on Piazza della Libertà which houses the Municipal Palace, the magnificent Civic Tower with the astronomical clock – Also you can visit Buonaccorsi Palace which houses the the Carriage Museum – Transfer to the Fiastra Abbey – Time at leisure for unch – Next, guided tour of one of the most valuable and best preserved monuments in Italy of Cistercian architecture and represents the highest testimony of the presence of the Cistercians in the Marche Region, who arrived in 1142 from the monastery of Chiaravalle in Milan – In mid-afternoon visit of Urbs Salvia Archaeological Park, an ancient Roman city, which has a magnificent amphitheater, that still houses theater performances – Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight

    • DAY 9: FABRIANO AND THE MUSEUM OF THE PAPER AND THE WATERMARK

    Breakfast at the hotel – Departure for Fabriano, city of the paper – Visit of the old town, in particular: the Podestà Palace, the Commune Square and the Oratory of Charity – Afterwards a guided tour of the Museum of Paper and Watermark, a centuries-old paper production tradition that makes Fabriano famous all over the world – Inside there is a faithful reproduction of the medieval “gualchiera” used for handmade paper making and a rich collection of ancient and modern watermarks – Lunch in a typical restaurant – End of services
